Are you living a life you are proud of? 🤔🤔

It’s a loaded question that we often don’t ask ourselves, but it’s one that’s important to consider.

➡️ Have you ever had that feeling where you wished you had done something differently or maybe wished you had done something that you didn’t?

➡️ Have you ever thought about those seemingly small things that we regret not doing?

Today, we’ve started with loaded questions that we often don’t ask ourselves, but it’s one that’s important to consider.

We’ve all been there.

You know how society can be always pushing us to focus on big-ticket items like career success, owning a house 🏠, and having a picture-perfect family.

But let’s be real here, there are so many little things that make us who we are, things that make us happy and fulfilled. And sometimes, those things can be just as important, if not more, than the big item.

So what’s important to you?

Five Regrets Shared By Those Near Death

It’s time to talk about the “r” word – regret.

Regret isn’t fun, but it’s an inevitable part of life. 😔😔

According to the author Bronnie Ware, there are five regrets most commonly shared by those who were near death.

These are 🔽

🤍 I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me…

🤍 I wish I hadn’t worked so hard…

🤍 I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings…

🤍 I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends…

🤍  And I wish that I had let myself be happier…

Do any of these sound familiar?

It’s interesting to note that none of these regrets have anything to do with earning more money 💰 or owning more things.

Instead, they’re about living a life that’s true to oneself, expressing our feelings, staying connected with friends, and being happier overall. It just goes to show that sometimes the smaller things in life can make the biggest impact.

What Sparks Joy?

What brings you happiness?

What really sparks joy in your life?

Have you had the opportunity to pursue those things, or have you put them on hold to focus on something else?

We want to pause here and tell you about one of our close friends who’s been struggling with a similar situation.

She’s one of the smartest, most hardworking, and one of the most compassionate people we know of, but she’s stuck in a high-paying job that’s taking a toll on her mental health.

We asked her what she’d rather do if money wasn’t the only motivation, and she shared her dream of working for a non-profit organization that helps displaced people globally. It’s a shame she never chased this dream, and we can only wonder what kind of impact she could have made.

What about YOU?

Have you ever thought about something you’ve always wanted to do but never got around to doing it?

Maybe you’ve always wanted to learn how to play the piano or take up drawing, but life just got in the way.

Don’t let that dream become a regret. It’s never too late to pursue what brings you joy and fulfillment. ✨

Life is short, and we only have a limited amount of time to make the most of it.

It’s important to spend our time ⏰ on things that truly make us happy and fulfilled.

Why waste our precious time on things that don’t light our fire? It’s never too late to take a leap of faith and pursue our dreams, and at the end of the day, we’ll feel proud of the life we’ve lived.

Things you can do to live life to the fullest without regrets

If you’re looking to live life to the fullest, there are some simple things you can do to get started!

For one, try practicing gratitude ❤️ and appreciation on a daily basis.

Take a few minutes each day to reflect on the good things in your life and express gratitude for them. You could write down three things you’re thankful for each day, or just take a moment to appreciate the people in your life.

It’s a small practice that can make a big difference in how you approach each day.

If you think about it, there are 365 days 🗓️ and if you write just 3 gratitudes per day, that’s over 1,000 things you’re thankful for in a year.

In fact, there are multiple scientific studies that prove that this type of journeying actually creates changes to your brain’s physiology. 💡

Taking care of your health and wellness 🏋🏻‍♀️ is also super important if you want to live life to the fullest. One way to do this is to prioritize it above everything else.

Make sure you’re eating healthy foods, getting enough exercise, and getting plenty of rest.

But don’t forget about your mental health too!

Take time for yourself to relax, meditate, practice yoga 🧘🏻‍♀️, or simply do whatever makes you happy. And if you’re struggling, don’t be afraid to reach out for help. Seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

But let’s also not forget about the joy and fulfillment made possible by being generous to others 🙏🏻.

There are so many ways you can do this! You can volunteer your time to a local charity or non-profit organization, mentor someone who could benefit from your experience, or even just offer a listening ear to someone who needs it.

By giving back to your community, you’ll not only make a difference in someone else’s life but you’ll also feel good about yourself and your contribution to the world.

Sometimes we get so caught up in overthinking and analyzing everything that we forget to listen to our own inner voice.

It’s important to trust your instincts and intuition when making decisions, especially when it comes to important life choices. While it’s important to be logical and thoughtful in our decision-making, we should also make room for our hearts and emotions to guide us.

So, don’t be afraid to listen to your heart 💛🧡 as well as your head!

But let’s be real — life can get pretty stressful sometimes, right?

That’s why it’s important to find ways to lighten up and have some fun.

One great way to do that is by laughing and smiling more often. Did you know that laughter is actually good for your health? It can reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and even boost your immune system.

So, why not make it a priority to seek out moments of laughter and joy in your life? Whether it’s watching a funny movie, sharing a joke with friends, or simply smiling at a stranger, it can make a big difference in your overall well-being.

While you’re out there making a difference, don’t forget to be open-minded and empathetic.

Sometimes it can be hard to see things from different perspectives, but it’s worth it! When we look for the good in people and try to understand their point of view, we build stronger relationships and find common ground. It’s not always easy, but it can make a big difference!

Have you ever heard the saying that you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with?  👀

It’s true!

That’s why it’s so important to surround yourself with people who will lift you up and inspire you to be the best version of yourself.

Seek out positive relationships with people who share your values and goals.  🤟🥰

Not only will this make you feel happier and more fulfilled, but it can also help you grow as a person.

It’s important to have people in your life who lift you up and encourage you to be the best you can be.

Seek out relationships with those who share your values and goals, and who will support you on your journey. And of course, it’s important to treat others with kindness and respect, just as you would want to be treated. The golden rule is a classic for a reason – it can make a big difference in the quality of your relationships.

But have you ever found yourself so caught up in reaching your goals that you forget to enjoy the present moment?

We know we have!

It’s important to slow down and appreciate the journey, rather than just focusing on the destination.

One way to do this is by practicing mindfulness and being fully present in the moment.

🌹 On the road of life, don’t forget to stop and smell the roses…

That way, you can enjoy the little things that make life worth living. 🤩🤩

Have you ever thought about your legacy or how you want to be remembered?

It’s something that we often don’t consider until much later in life, but it’s an important factor to keep in mind when making decisions. By thinking about how you want to be remembered, you can make choices that align with your values and make a positive impact on the world.

It’s a great way to live a fulfilling life and leave a lasting legacy.

So let’s examine 🧐 something really important your life!

Are you satisfied with the way things are going for you right now? If not, that’s okay!
